London Ambulance Service’s strategy of adopting electric vehicles in front-line roles is part of its Carbon Neutral Plan, which targets net zero direct emissions by 2040. Volkswagen plans to present the show car for the new entry-level model to the public at the beginning of March. The world premiere of the production model is scheduled for 2027. With a base price of about €20,000, the new entry-level electric model will be attractive for a wide variety of user groups.
