Last month 21.604 units of the Tesla Model 3 were sold in China, which is extremely impressive considering that in October “only” 12.143 units were sold.
Moreover, now Tesla is also producing the Model 3 in China with cobalt-free LFP batteries from CATL to export it to Europe.
Tesla’s planned production capacity in China for next year is 550.000 units, of which 300.000 units for the Model 3 and 250.000 units for the Model Y.
Currently, the most popular alternative to the Tesla Model 3 is the BYD Han EV that also has a cobalt-free LFP battery and had 7.482 units sold in November.

Any idea how many LFP M3 sold in Nov?
No idea. If that information is announced I’ll update the article.
Thanks:)
I love the writers point of view…. Without oil there will be less war… Well until a country needs something another country has… Like rare earth materials, copper, lithium… sadly I am afraid his expectations will not be met. I love peace, I love democracy, but I don’t know if electric cars will get us there.
