Chevrolet has just announced in its facebook’s page that tomorrow we will know the Chevrolet Bolt EV’s official electric range.
My guess is that the Chevrolet Bolt EV will have a 220 EPA miles range.
This announcement indicates that in the upcoming Paris Motor Show the NEDC range figure that will be used to advertise the Opel Ampera-e in Europe should also be revealed. For the overly optimistic NEDC range my guess is 500 km.
What do you think the official range figures will be?

220 miles/367 km seems to be a lot for this non-aerodynamic car!
You’ve made me doubt myself. And I don’t know how the combined range weighs highway range versus city range. Even so, it seems to me a bit surprising if the Bolt with 60 kWh achieves more than double the current LEAF with its 30 kWh. So my guess is 210 miles EPA.
Obviously it could be that the LG batteries tolerate a wider SoC window, making the Bolts useable capacity more than double that of the LEAF. But I’ll stick to my guns for now. 🙂
GM wouldn’t make an announcement for something close to 200.
So 220 makes sense.
238 miles! This will be a sales winner!
Hoy decían en Forocheselectricos.com que según la marca el ciclo EPA sería de unos 383 km. En fin a ver que precio nos dan en París.
