Ford Focus Electric with improved range in 2016

New Ford Focus Electric with CCS fast charging and bigger battery

In late 2016 Ford will improve the Focus Electric to compete with the new 30 kWh Nissan Leaf.

A little more range and fast charging will not be enough to be a successful electric car, since Chevrolet Bolt will arrive at the same time and it will have the double of range. A price drop should also happen.

Can 100 and 200 mile range electric cars coexist? Yes if the lower range is compensated also with lower price. The more the merrier.

Ford objectives for Electric Mobility

Since now Ford promises that at least 40 % of their cars will be electrified by 2020, a small Ford Fiesta Electric would be great in Europe.

I grew up on a tough neighborhood and am not a privileged guy, my true nature is violent, even if I try to hide it because I'm not proud of it. I try to overcome my violent nature by learning more about geeky things like batteries, but I'm far from being an expert and don't pretend to be one. I also graduated in Sociology, to learn more about others and pacify myself.
