The Malaysian automaker has plans to sell this electric car in Europe in the end of 2016 or early 2017. By then the competition will be fierce and I think it will probably won’t happen.
Even If I don’t believe that the plans to sell it in Europe will come true, I’m happy to see another automaker to use the second generation battery from LG Chem. In its home country it can have a great success.
The 39,6 kWh battery is mentioned to provide a range of 300 km in NEDC, which is not impressive and can only be explain by bad aerodynamics and poor powertrain efficiency.
